"The Three Musketeers" is a swashbuckling classic. D'Artagnan, a poor young nobleman, leaves home to enter the elite Musketeers of the Guard. He joins the three most formidable musketeers of the age. They pit their valour and swordsmanship against the Machiavellian Cardinal Richelieu and the unscrupulous seductress Milady de Winter.

This was a terrific book. Dumas was a talented story teller with a wonderful sense of humor. It is hilariously funny. I am now re-reading it with my teenage daughter and we both laugh each time we go through a chapter. It has romance, mystery, adventure, excitement and so much more.
