Mark De Wolfe Howe

Mark DeWolfe Howe was an American editor, author and recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography in 1925 for his piece Barrett Wendell and His Letters . He was secretary to Mr. Justice Holmes from 1933 - 1943. He was Holmes's biographer and had access to the entirety of his correspondence and personal papers.
