Frank Pope is Ocean Correspondent of The Times. He has worked on underwater expeditions all over the world under the auspices of Oxford MARE (Maritime archaeological Research and Excavation Unit), including the salvage of Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship HMS Agamemnon.
