Cancion de Cuna is an Argentine remake of Cradle Song, filmed by Paramount in 1933 with Dorothea Wieck in the lead. Director Gregorio Martinez Sierra adapted the script from his own stage play, upon which both films were based. It's the story of a nun named Sister Joan of the Cross, who finds a baby on the doorstep of her convent. Sister Joan unofficially adopts the foundling as her own, raising the child to adulthood. A crisis develops when the grown-up girl falls in love with an engineer who doesn't appear to be good ...
