Four selections are piano solos, four others have Hodes in a trio with bassist Truck Parham and drummer/washboard player Freddy Moore, and three selections have trumpeter Freddie Greenleaf, trombonist Dave Remington, and clarinetist Bill Reinhardt making the group a sextet.
